Fourteen years ago, I started Kayo with a simple belief:
No one should walk alone on their path to success.
At the time, I had no idea where that belief would lead.
It began with a single Women’s Private Equity Conference, where 135 women gathered to build relationships, learn from one another, and strengthen a community that was still finding its voice. Over the years, that single event grew into conferences spanning Private Equity, Energy & Infrastructure, Real Estate & Credit, Healthcare Investing, and Leadership Retreats.
Along the way, more than 10,000 professionals became part of the Kayo community.
But numbers only tell part of the story.
The true legacy of Kayo has always been the relationships. The introductions that became business partnerships. The conversations that led to investments. The mentors who opened doors. The friendships that endured long after the conferences ended. The countless moments where someone realized they weren’t walking their path alone.
For that, I am deeply grateful.
Today, I’m excited to share that Kayo is entering its next chapter.
Effective August 5, ownership of Kayo Conference Series has transitioned to Hannah Wynnyk.
Many of you already know Hannah as President and COO. Over the past several years, she has helped shape Kayo’s strategy, operations, and growth while serving our community with extraordinary care and dedication. Throughout this transition, my greatest priority has been ensuring that Kayo continues to flourish, and I couldn’t be more confident in Hannah’s leadership.
While ownership is changing, Kayo’s mission remains exactly the same: creating meaningful connections and exceptional experiences for women across the investment ecosystem.
I hope you’ll continue to support Hannah and the incredible Kayo team as they build the next chapter of this community together.
As for me, this transition marks the beginning of a new season.
Over the past several months, I’ve been quietly building Under Stories, a coaching and leadership practice inspired by another belief that has been growing alongside Kayo: that the most meaningful personal and professional growth happens beneath the surface, long before anyone else sees it. Under Stories is a natural extension of the work I’ve always loved most—helping people discover their strengths, navigate transitions, build healthy organizations, and write their next chapter. I’m also excited to explore new executive leadership opportunities where I can continue building organizations and communities that help people flourish.
Although my role is changing, my appreciation for this community never will.
Building Kayo has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. It has shaped me in ways I never expected and introduced me to extraordinary people I now call friends. Thank you for your trust, your partnership, your encouragement, and your belief in what Kayo could become.
The best communities aren’t built by one person. They’re carried forward by many.
