What is included with the registration price?
Registration includes access to all conference sessions, networking breaks, meals, and receptions, unless otherwise noted. In addition, attendees will receive a one-year membership to The Corner, our digital community. It doesn’t include any accommodations, travel, or additional for-cost workshops.
Who should attend a Kayo Summit?
Kayo is a community for women in business, finance, and investing. All are welcome. Programming is geared towards emerging and senior leadership, primarily in areas of business, investing, development, legal, and talent.

Where can I find the agenda?
On each event page, we will have a brochure or agenda available for download, depending on where we are in event planning. Full agendas are typically released two to three months prior to the event, though we send topics, panels, and keynote announcements all year long. Make sure you are getting updates via email by joining our event waitlists or downloading the event brochures.
What is your cancellation policy?
After purchasing a ticket, refunds are not available. However, tickets may be transferred to a colleague or we can issue a credit that can be used to a future event if notifications are received 72 hours before the event. Credits for future summit are valid for up to 12 months, and any additional balance on the ticket price must be paid.
Is press allowed at Kayo events?
All Kayo events are closed to the press.
Where can I find room block information?
Kayo reserves room blocks at each luxury host hotel we select for our events (because who has time to worry about being comfortable?) Room blocks are limited and tend to sell out quickly. Hotels are listed on each event page, and “how to book your room” instructions will be sent after you register.
Are masks required?
Hotel guests and visitors are no longer required to wear masks. The Houstonian recommends face coverings for guests and visitors who are not vaccinated, except when at the pool or outdoors, or actively eating or drinking. During private Summit sessions and networking, wearing a mask will be up to your discretion and not mandated by Kayo.
Will the event be held indoors or outdoors?
The programming sessions will take place indoors. Weather permitting, all networking sessions will take place outdoors.
Will proof of Covid-19 vaccination be required?
Kayo will not be checking or mandating that attendees be vaccinated for Covid-19.
What social distancing protocols will be in place?
We have selected a venue with a spacious ballroom that can hold up to 600 people: this capacity is 5x what is required to host our audience leaving plenty of space for individuals who are looking for more distance. Weather permitting, all of our networking functions will be held outdoors. Don’t forget your sunglasses and umbrella!
Should I attend this event?
This event is for people who are ready to get back to networking and are comfortable in in-person social situations in large groups (150+ people). We are going to follow every precaution in line with local guidance.
This year’s event might not be for everyone. If you’re not comfortable with the precautions in place, or prefer smaller groups (50 or less) we will have virtual options and small-group events available.

Will the event be broadcast virtually?
A portion of the content covered over the course of the two days of programming at the Energy Transition Summit will be recorded and made available post-event. Topics to be covered include Oil and Gas, Innovation and Technology, Leadership and ESG, and Renewables. Recorded content will be subject to approvals of speakers.
Members of the Kayo digital community, The Corner, will get access to the recorded portions of the program post-event.
Is there a virtual ticket option?
This event will not be broadcast live as a virtual offering, however, a portion of the content will be recorded and shared in our digital community, The Corner, post-event.

Will there be any COVID-19 Symptom Screening?
Attendees will be asked to submit to a temperature check at the beginning of each day of the summit. Additionally, we ask that if you are experiencing any of the following linked CDC COVID-19 Symptoms you do not attend the event.

As a speaker, may I have the attendee list in advance?
We are not able to share the attendee list in advance of that with delegates from any firms who are not our event sponsors or partners. All attendees receive access to the Kayo Corner with our digital directory with contact information.
As a speaker, do I need to purchase a pass to the event?
Speakers do not need to purchase a pass to the event. Speakers receive a complimentary pass. Please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org to receive your receipt.
As a speaker, how do I reserve a hotel room?
Speakers are responsible for booking their own hotel and travel. The event takes place at the Houstonian. Please keep an eye out for an email on reservation information.
Does Kayo reimburse speaker travel costs?

As a speaker, may I invite a guest?
Yes, speakers are encouraged to share a discount code with their guests. Please contact email@example.com for the guest discount code.
Will my session be recorded?
25% of the program will be recorded. Prior to confirming speakers, we will communicate whether or not your sessions will be recorded. We will only record if granted permission from all panelists.
When is my prep session? Who are my panelists?
Your prep session is held 4 weeks in advance of the in-person event and led by the discussion moderator. Once the full panel is confirmed, you will receive a group introduction email to kick off planning.
