Doing good by people is one of the secrets of success according to Vania Schlogel, Founder of Atwater Capital, a Media and Entertainment sector-focused private equity firm in Los Angeles. Vania is an extravert with a capital E who learned from her parents growing up Boise, Idaho about the importance of putting people at ease and steadfast character. Carrying these skills, she navigated a successful course from UCLA to Goldman Sachs Leveraged Finance to KKR Growth Equity and to serving as Chairperson for Brad Pitt’s company, Plan B Entertainment. Now. The next frontier is building her own company, Atwater, a next-generation private equity platform to fund the best ideas in media and entertainment while being “incontrovertibly committed to upholding her team’s character as executives and on behalf of their stakeholders.” In this Keynote, we’ll hear about several obstacles she overcame on this journey and hard-earned nuggets of wisdom for other women in private equity.

Are the tickets All-Access Passes?

This year, the Private Equity Series is comprised of two separate events: the Women’s M&A Summit and the Women’s Private Funds Summit. Passes must be purchased separately for each event. A pass to one is not transferable to the other Summit.

How do I book my hotel room at The Newbury Boston?

We’ve secured a room block at The Newbury Boston. Prices start at $545.00 per night. This block will sell out, so we recommend booking your room early. Once you purchase your ticket, you will receive a direct link to book.

What is a VIP ticket?

A VIP ticket comes with access to the attendee list, media kit, a VIP lunch, and access to the VIP lounge.

What is the attire?

The Summit adheres to a business professional dress code.

What is your refund policy?
