We’ve transformed our Exhibit Hall into a Base Camp. Like a Base Camp serves a trailblazer resting on their journey, you will start your journey in the Exhibit Hall, and retreat back to it between sessions.
For two days, the Assembly Hall will be an inviting room of 40 numbered roundtables where you can schedule 1:1 meetings, take meals, and enjoy roundtable discussions. It’s a place to take solo clarity breaks when you need a break. This is also where the grand Networking Lunch will take place on June 13th.

Our pre-conference structured networking helps limited partners make connections with ease before the conference really begins. The 90 minute segment, Knockout Networking, kicks off with a 30 minute fireside chat between two industry peers. Secondly, there are 60 minutes of roundtable discussions with topic prompts to help attendees open up about obstacles, challenges, wins and goals.

To show up strong and engage our audience in a compelling way doesn’t require you to be an exceptional public speaker, but it does require that you understand what effective communication is all about. In this energizing and fun three-hour session, we will learn to communicate with impact and purpose from the inside out. We will learn the techniques to engage the audience from the moment we walk out on stage, embody confidence, compel the audience through heartfelt and dynamic delivery, and paint pictures and evoke emotions with our message.

Olivia Wassenaar sits at the cross-section of sustainable investing and energy. As Head of Apollo’s Sustainable Investing platform, Olivia leads the Firm’s multi-asset investment strategy focused on financing and investing in the energy transition and decarbonization of industry. Olivia’s investments at Apollo have focused on the energy transition, and she serves on the boards of several Apollo funds’ portfolio companies including FlexGen, Graanul, Takkion and Total Operations and Production Services (TOPS). Olivia will tell us about how sustainable investing has evolved over the course of her career, where we are in the energy transition and where she hopes the industry will head in the next phase of its maturity. We’ll also hear about Olivia’s view on opportunities for women in energy and sustainable investing, and how, in role co-chairing Apollo’s DE&I Steering Group, she leads that effort.

Evolution of LP Needs
Description: Are strong fundamentals in industrial, multifamily and life sciences encouraging investors to increase their allocation to commercial and residential real estate? Or, are uncertain macroeconomic conditions leading investors to reduce risk and decrease exposure?
